Check several at once

Type up to 10 names into the Domain Availability Checker (for example mybrand.com, mybrand.co, getmybrand.com). It asks the official registries live. Try the Business Name Generator for more ideas.

Choosing a good domain

Prefer .com for US customers, keep it short, avoid hyphens and numbers, and make sure it's easy to spell after hearing it once. Check the matching social handles too.

If it's taken

Look it up with the WHOIS Lookup – if it's parked or about to expire, you may be able to buy it through the owner or a broker. Otherwise add a word (get-, try-, -hq, -app) or a location.

Register it

Buy from a reputable registrar, turn on auto-renew and WHOIS privacy, and keep the account email up to date.
